Email yours to including screen captures as appropriate. IMAP will count all messages in all folders POP, just in the incoming folder. The difference in message counts between POP and IMAP is almost certainly because IMAP mirrors your server folder structure while POP is almost certainly only retrieving from your main inbound mailbox. Select the Gmail account that shows Account Type: POP in the Account Information tab.And suddenly, for three days ago, a sudden change : I still can delete mails from Gmail account, from iPhone - but NOT from Outlook. In Mail, you can also disable an account-deleting it could cause other problems, and I’d hate to recommend that as the first step. I have always been able to delete anywhere - iPhone, Gmail or Outlook - and the mails syncronised so that the deleted mail got deleted also on the online account and iPhone. The Internet Accounts system preference pane should only show one entry for each account-if you see two, you might have duplicate mailboxes and other troubles.
